Work

Dances we carry.

A living set — care of Country, the hard history, and an open invitation for all of us to dance together.

Dusty Feet Mob performing Took the Children Away

Performances

On any floor that will hold a story.

Dusty Feet Mob have performed across the country and around the world. A defining honour will always be dancing Took the Children Away live with Uncle Archie Roach. We've performed in truck stops, Parliament House, theatres across the country and stadiums full of fifty thousand people. Each performance is adaptable to the community and location that calls for it. Our current stage work, This Story’s True, gathers lineage into a full theatrical experience.

Shorter programs are available for schools, civic events and community days. After workshops, we love to bring everyone up to learn and dance We Are Australian with the mob. Please be in touch to discuss your requirements.

Schools

A whole school on its feet.

A major part of the work is in schools: a one-hour incursion that holds a performance and a workshop in the same hour. We have performed at hundreds of schools across South Australia. For Aboriginal students it can be pride and recognition. For non-Aboriginal students it can be a way in that no textbook opens.

2026 incursion fee: $3,500 excl. GST for one hour of performance and workshop. Extra performances or workshops the same day are $1,000 each. We travel from Adelaide.

Travel

One trip, several rooms.

Because we are regional and we tour with children and young people, a 12-seater bus is part of the work. Permissions, family communication, safety planning and child-safe practice sit inside every engagement. No one should be left behind because of distance.
